BioEvery few months I go back and make all of my entries private; right now you can only see entries that date back until this last May. I will privatize more later in the year, because the person I was then is not the person I am now, and I feel the need to accurately represent myself to you.
The four corners represent the divine of the human being.
The spiral in the middle is the 'sacred g', representing every force in the universe.
The 4 points represent North, East, South, West and the four elements of water, fire, air and earth.
The black and white represent the balance of everything.
I place this symbol above my heart center and feel the energy...
feel the energy flow through me.

You have touched my life in ways that can never be expressed or known. It is hard to know what to do when you would like to help save the world. I guess you have to start small, first helping yourself and then other people. One by one. I think helping yourself just might be the hardest thing one can do. To master ones self; it sounds almost impossible. Although, sometimes it seems like such a small thing compared to what I see going on in the world. Such large scale corruption and depreciation of human life. Life of all forms. I understand that war of all kinds has been going on since before even written history, and had there not been some kind of justice or fairness in the world then we would all be in some living hell or not alive at all. That still doesn't make it ok for me. So what do I do? I write to my representatives, I sign petitions, and sometimes I even go to rallies if I hear about them in time. I try to get information out to other people, network ideas and actions. I believe that our thoughts can change the world. I really, really do. (Apply quantum physics & Buddhism here) But, there is still a part inside me that has doubts that we can really accomplish anything in time to change the damage we are inflicting to ourselves before it is irreversible. Our ego is the root of all suffering; if we become enlightened only then will we achieve true happiness. With so many people in the world not at any form of higher understanding will we all perish in the twisted realities we make for ourselves? This self-destructive hell fueled by our ego? Crying about it will not accomplish anything; I will only dwell in another misery I have set before myself because I allow the injustices in this world get to me. It all comes back around to me. You. Us. "Be the change you wish to see in the world." -Gandhi Only then can we change the world. Touch every life that is before you with love and fairness, so you can then make a ripple effect that will never end. This government, this society does not run us, we run it. If we change, the world will change. If we understand what is truly important, only then can defeat the pain and self-destructive patterns we have created for ourselves. We are so significant, every single one of us. Never think that anything you do won't effect the world. We are the world. If we consciously see ourselves as separate from one another then we are living in a delusional state of reality. We are individual parts of one whole, if we can't change ourselves for the better, we will never accomplish anything for the greater good. I don't know what to say anymore, and crying isn't helping anything. What else can be said? If you are not part of the solution you are part of the problem. I don't care if I am remembered, I care that we don't destroy the greatest gift we were ever given..... Goodnight, Candiace |
